NeverMonday is looking for a Creative Director whom is passionate about product, conceptual and creative design!


About the position

In the role as a Creative Director, you’ll be responsible of constantly creating NeverMondays seasonal Direction of the Design according to market and fashion trends as well as overall brand identity.


Your primary focus will be to ideate, create, and execute product design, digital and offline creative content for NeverMondays e-commerce site, and retail partners. NeverMonday is a fast-growing company, the pace of work and the pace of change will be high and the tasks can sometimes be challenging. If it suits you, you will be the second person to join our marketing team. You will manage and work closely together with our Creative Designer.


Roles and responsibilities

  • Develop the seasonal Direction of the Design according to market trends as well as overall Design Direction and ensure consistency though products and ranges
  • Develop and set the direction for new/current products, collections and packaging concepts.
  • Direct contact with factories of production in Asia.
  • Conceptualize and design digital content for our e-commerce and digital channels; translate creative into a digital environment that ensures a cohesive brand image.
  • Plan, conceptualize, and execute still-life photography for online and offline usage. Manage the process from content planning to post-production, providing clear on-set direction, and overseeing post-production.
  • Be a part of the ideation of new creative content, copy and product design together with Creative Designer, and developing and executing those ideas (i.e. product launches, shopping experiences, marketing campaigns, etc.).
  • Design, develop and manage all brand collateral in both print and digital including but not limited to lookbooks, logos, newsletters, banners, invitations, packaging, window vinyls, seasonal graphics and presentations.
  • Design visual elements for the website and conceptualize new ideas – landing pages, new layouts and functionality, site enhancements, etc to enhance the customer experience.
  • Organization of discount codes.

Qualities/ Characteristics

  • Express yourself very well in writing, both in Swedish and English.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Degree in Design, Digital Design, Fine Art, or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce, digital design, product design and digital media channels.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • A refined taste level with expert design and typography skills.
  • Experience of working for a retail/fashion brand or ad agency.
  • Experience with still-life photography art direction and a strong understanding of product design and responsive design.
  • Ability to conceptualize design solutions with limited guidance and to think outside the box.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and well organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines and follow-through.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
